The club is part of the Murray Valley Cricket Association and has a strong local presence, promoting cricket among players of all ages and skill levels. Established in 1930 our history, our supporters, our members, our participants are our legacy.

Bowden Constructions Barooga Under 17s: BACK2BACK PREMIERS 2026!
Barooga has been crowned the under-17 Murray Valley Cricket Association premier following a brilliant victory over Cobram-Katamatite.
Barooga has been crowned premier of the Murray Valley Cricket Association under-17 division, beating a combined Cobram-Katamatite side to the title in an exhilarating showdown at Katamatite Recreation Reserve.

2025/26 MVCA Country Week Representative Teams
Congrats to everyone involved in another successful Murray Valley Cricket Association Country Week.
It is always a massive task organising and co-ordinating six teams from across our region, coaches, trials, uniforms, practice matches, trainings ... so to Amanda Lucas and the MVCA crew, we are all extremely grateful for your hard work and effort behind the scenes to make this happen for yet another year for our kids. A big thanks to all coaches, scorers and parents who also pitched in to help out across the week!
Fair to say it was one of the hotter ones in a while, but our teams did us proud. It is always great to see players come together who are usually at the opposite end of the crease have some fun! And well done to those who stepped up to Rep Cricket for the first time!
Congrats to the U17s and U15s making their respective grand finals but just couldn't quite get over the line against strong Shepparton and Bendigo outfits.

Since its establishment in 1930, Barooga Cricket Club has been proud to foster a love for the game for all of the locals and encourage inclusion and sportsmanship. Barooga Cricket Club is proud to support community events and engage in initiatives to support local development and promote healthy lifestyles through sports.
We cater for all ability levels with teams playing in Premier Grades, Modified Rule Grades and Under 10 Woolworths Cricket Blasters.
